The short answer is no.
If we hear of any vendor contacting our members privately (via any means) for things like trying to make a sale, trying to build their network or trying to ask for unsolicited feedback on their product, they will get a warning.
If it ever happens again, they will have their legs cut off and be banished from the Tribe forever 😮
We keep our Tribe as a safe space away from unsolicited messaging and vendor promotions and we will do whatever we need to protect the integrity of that very deeply.
If, however, you’re a Vendor and a Tech Tribe member has asked you in a thread to message / contact them so you can help them out with something, this is perfectly acceptable because it’s not unsolicited.
The simple rule is no unsolicited contact. Ever 🙃
There are other member based organizations around the world (such as Network Group (UK), ASCII (USA) & SMBiT Professionals (Australia/NZ) that will allow you to send out communications to their MSP members and connect with them (for a fee). It might be worth getting in touch with them.
