We recommend you start by using the LC Email system built into Growably as it's the easiest and fastest way to get started (more details here).
However, if you don't want to use the LC Email for some reason, then you can easily add your own External SMTP Service.
Technically, you can use any SMTP Service that exists.
However, Mailgun has the deepest integration into Growably allowing you to see much deeper email deliverability data inside your Growably Dashboard.

If you don’t want to use Mailgun – then some other popular options are:
- SMTP2GO – a number of MSPs use this service and are happy with it
- SendGrid
- Amazon SES
- SendInBlue
- Azure Communication Services
- Any other SMTP Service you like
If you want to add your own SMTP Provider, head to Settings -> Email Services within Growably.
Make sure you do your own Due Diligence on any of these providers before using to make sure they'll work for you in your use case.
IMPORTANT
You can't use Microsoft365 as an SMTP Service for mass email. Microsoft didn't build their system for this and will actively try to stop and block you from sending bulk emails.
